Using your technology may not BE rocket science, but it sure

feels like it.

You’ve tried and tried to figure it out.  YouTube tutorials aren’t helpful – they go way too fast, or your screen looks different then what they say you should see.

“Why is this so hard?” you ask yourself.

It’s taking up so much time, and you just don’t understand how to do what you really need to do!

What you really want is someone to show you

exactly

what to do and how to do it.

Hello!

My name is Steve Mattus.

I enjoy technology and am keeping up with it pretty well, despite being over 50 years old.

I enjoy helping others, and have done so via a vibrant coaching practice over the past decade.

I bring a special mix of tech expertise, along with a deep spiritual practice, which keeps my heart and mind attuned towards kindness, gentleness, mercy, patience, and love.

I not only understand how to make technology work, I understand business systems and philosophy, so not only can I support you in advancing your technology skills, I can teach you how to make the technology work best for you and your business.

When technology works for you, it eliminates obstacles, makes you more effective, and makes your to-do list easier.

If that’s not the experience you’re having, and you want someone to walk along with you to make your experience with technology more simple and much easier, let’s talk, and explore if and how I can help..

I believe that when you bring

Love & Technology

Love &

Technology

together, what results is nothing short of a miracle.

How does it work?

It's like holding hands while we skip through a field of dasies!

Ha ha ha… okay… okay… maybe I’ve overstated it a bit.

It’s actually like traveling to a fascinating city you’ve never been to before with a close friend who knows the city extremely well, all the best spots to sightsee and coolest secret non-touristy places to eat the best food, and is excited to show you around at a pace and in a way that totally works for you.

So, here’s how this works…

Tech training almost always take longer than anyone imagines.  And, if you need help, it’s because you need to go slow and simple, step-by-step, so you really pick up on how to do it.

My hand-holding process is three steps, and I call it DOCing:

  1. Demonstrate: I walk you through the process one step at a time.
  2. Observe: I let you do the process, while I watch and share feedback.
  3. Confirm: I let you do the process all by yourself, so both you and I know you can do it! #confidence

This training process helps you establish a pattern of what’s called RSE – recent successful experience – which is a critical part of learning and moving new skills into long-term memory.

Two Situations: Simple & Complex

Tech challenges usually show up in two distinct ways.  Either the problem is:

  • A simple troubleshooting issue, or one step of a larger process you don’t understand.
(This often looks/sounds like, for example, “I’m trying to add this image to my newsletter but the #$%@ thing won’t resize the way I want it.  Can you help?”)
    Two ways to get support:
    • We’ll troubleshoot via Zoom and screensharing as we go through the DOC process. (Recording will be available for you to re-watch as needed.)
    • You can ask your question via email, and Steve will record a video walkthrough of the process.
  • A process that’s more complex (involving more than a few steps) and you need training to help you learn all/most of the process from start to finish so you can do it by yourself.
(This often looks/sounds like, for example, “I need to start my newsletter, but I’m unfamiliar with Mailchimp and need to learn how to set up a newsletter template.)
    • We’ll book at least one hour of time via Zoom, and, using screensharing, we’ll go through the DOC process.  This session will be recorded and available for you to download and re-watch as needed.

A Note about AI

AI is a new reality of our world that we need to face and learn how to be with it in healthy relationship.

I’ve taught classes on using AI Ethically for those with sensitive hearts.  I use it regularly and can help you develop your own practical ways to use AI to decrease your workload, and make your life easier.

When used in a healthy way, AI can not only be really helpful, it can be lots of fun too!

Fees & Usage

For simple troubleshooting, you purchase one hour at a time, and that hour can be used in 15 minute increments. The time includes any time it takes Steve to record a training video for you. My fee for this work is $50/hour.

For more complex training on a process, Steve will estimate the time involved and you’ll be quoted a fee for that time. Much of this depends on your comfort level with technology and ability to learn/remember.

How about a bit more
